Anyone running Squatch Step steps, especially anyone in a cold climate with snow, ice and salt? Looking at these over cheaper imports on amazon and just curious to see that the hold up well in the real world.

They have their place, but if you do any sort of wheeling beyond rougher dirts roads, its only a matter of time until you either rip them off or bend them so badly they’re unusable.Anyone running Squatch Step steps, especially anyone in a cold climate with snow, ice and salt? Figure I can take them off when I go offroading. More for day to day use so the other half can get into the Bronco. They have their place, but if you do any sort of wheeling beyond rougher dirts roads, its only a matter of time until you either rip them off or bend them so badly they’re unusable.
That works. M2M makes quality stuff. I have one of their shelves behind the rear seat.Figure I can take them off when I go offroading. More for day to day use so the other half can get into the Bronco.
Yes. I just received mine yesterday actually. They are very sturdy. I’m around 290 lbs and they hold up just fine. They are a lot bigger than I thought they were going to be, which is good I suppose.Anyone running Squatch Step steps, especially anyone in a cold climate with snow, ice and salt? Good to know about the same weight here and that was a concern..Yes. I just received mine yesterday actually. They are very sturdy. I’m around 290 lbs and they hold up just fine. They are a lot bigger than I thought they were going to be, which is good I suppose.
Yeah I like the fact the top is stainless and removable if ever wanted/needed to paint or replace it.i have several friends who run these and love them. Also, I’m friends with the owners, and I remember when they were about to launch these they made a last minute design change and made the top plate stainless steel due to all the reports of the competition having issues with rusting
I had some quality issues with the powder coating chipping and then rusting. M2M replaced them as a defect/QC. So far holding up ok, will see what Spring brings. Install is easy. I have ran into some issues removings with the "pin". One was my fault I bent the pin off-roading and resorted to cutting it off, the other I rounded it with the allen wrench and resorted to pliers. I was able to get replacement from M2M, may be worth asking for or buying some up front.I am looking at these for my Badlands. I have factory Rock Rails, has anyone had any problem installing and taking them off when going on trails. Also. How are they holding up?
Thank you for your reply. I am also looking at the IAG which is around the same price but they don't have the stainless steel step. They aren't as big and I do like that. Since I am 5' it is a sight watching me get in. I grab the steering wheel get both feet in and sway in the wind as I swing in. I don't need a big step. I do have a 4door but I am only getting the 2 steps. I have attached the link:I had some quality issues with the powder coating chipping and then rusting. M2M replaced them as a defect/QC.
