Moon Rocks, Nevada

My wife and I were in Reno for a quick overnight trip to celebrate her mom's 80th birthday - i managed to talk my wife into going with me super early this morning for a little trip to Moon Rock, NV before breakfast with her mom.. it's about 45 min outside Reno - and a super cool place to explore! I wish we had more time. I'm sure I'll be back.

Shhhh, cmon man Moon Rocks is one of Reno's best/worst kept secrets, haha. Glad you had a great time the local community puts a lot of effort into keeping it clean/nice! When you get the Bronco go baha across Black Rock Desert, its a great time!

For those not in the know that's not clouds or fog in the background, that's the smoke from the Beckwourth Complex fires and that's what Reno looks like all summer as a direct result of the California fires. Check your tow chains, dont light campfires, and for gods sake install spark arresters where appropriate.

I'll have to check out Black Rock desert ... the ZR2 Bison does exceptionally well with high speed dirt roads/trails - it's got the DSSV shocks from GM which I believe are pretty similar to the shocks on the Badlands/Sasquatch I'm getting... I'm having a blast checking out different areas around Nor Cal with this truck! And yeah, the smoke was pretty bad this morning from the fire... I'm not looking forward to our fire season this year stay safe!
