Hey y'all, I'm sure everyone on a bronco forum has had experience here and something to say about it. In about 2 weeks my home for sale closes and I will trade my wife's shitty Dodge journey for a minivan. Anybody have experience as far as longevity with the different options? I'm leaning towards Toyota and Honda, planning to spend around 15-20k for something a few years old and fairly low miles. I can get a much newer Dodge for the money compared to the Japanese minivans. Hoping someone here has 1st hand experience. C'mon, tell me what's what...

We have a 2018 Honda Odyssey. We bought it new in 2017. Apart from some recalls, expected on a first year model, it's been solid. 33k miles. Zero problems. It has made me a minivan convert.

Thus why I'm desperate to rescue some lost masculinity with the Bronco (kidding - mostly).

Just bought my wife a 2019 odyssey elite. Odyssey is the best minivan on the market. Not my opinion, just what I found after hours of research but I agree now.

We traded in a dodge journey for a grand caravan. Thing does really well and was way cheaper than all the other brands. It was loaded out in the high 20s before even negotiating... Drove it off the lot new, with zero miles for right at 22k. It fits all 4 kids, the dogs, and all our camping stuff in it no problem. It gets 30ish miles to the gallon with the v6. No problems with it at all for the 5 years we've owned it.

I vote for the Sienna. I've seen a family member drive one like a rented mule for 8 years with not even doing the proper oil changes and the thing still held up. They're low tech (before 2018), got plenty of power, and get decent fuel economy. I bought one for my wife and she loves it.
