Same here, showed "produced" with no update for a while. Now the dealership is showing "microchip at plant on hold". Pretty disappointing but at this point what else is new? Still thankful I was a fortunate one to even get a build date...
Just a question, mine said, "in production" and then I did get a window sticker generated, but then it has sat at that level of update for a while. Does the fact that it has "window sticker" make it any more real or not? Thanks.

Let's try to draw a distinction between long-term supply trends and short term supply hiccups, which this may be. Ford made a big point of highlighting their relative Bronco insensitivity to the overall shortage. Hopefully this is a blip (seemingly limited to the charmingly named ASS chips - automated stop/start). But none of us have all the facts ...
ASS chips, now who doesn't love that. I've been considering an Explorer (I know, I got over it), and they are allowing a $50 credit for taking a vehicle without the ASS system. It seems that if the ASS chips are the problem Ford could contact those who have their Bronco in purgatory, and offer them the same. If I was in that situation Ford could keep the 50 bucks if they would just ship my Bronco.

My outerbanks 2.7 is bumped from 2/14 to 2/21. Probably gonna be 2/28.

The chatter in the build week threads today(1/25) its about delivery delays. Many are experiencing delivery delays to February 28. And I am one of them. I wanted to pass along that my dealer indicated it was a microchip delay. He showed me his order log for my vehicle which had a note on the recent delivery delay. “Micro chip delay”. Real bummer to add to fuel to the fire of many issues.

*** adding some other detail ***
from the trends we are seeing on the build week data, Ford seems to have prioritized the convey orders for the delays. Thus perhaps shorter routes would be easier and quicker to handle the chip install. It’s all makes little sense but trying.

****update ****
I know some doubted the validity of this reason for the recent delay (and I understand why) but I was able to see some Ford communication that verified. I also believe it is a short term issue and Ford has made supply improvements that will take care of this issue going forward. I know execs have made references to this recently. For now some but not all deliveries are held for micro chips.
Are all these discussions/dates on the 2022 Bronco. Mines a 2021 "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold" with a ETA End Date of 2/3/2022. Lots on my Modules have been turned on though.

Yea my module is populated with a list of numbers. So I guess it has been worked on, but I never got a “built” or “shipped” update.
Same. My tracker updated to in production, then a few days later gave me a build date of 1/26, then mods popped, and I got a 2/18 expected delivery date. But since then, tear tag still reads DAA and I’ve never gotten any confirmation that the build was completed. Shipping will be by rail. I was wondering if it’s sitting in a parking lot waiting for a chip being that the build never finalized. But it could just be my tracker is not updating correctly.

Wait so you got a build date? I never even got a build date. All I got was in production 12/14 and nothing after that :(
My Edd says 2/3 which is for sure bs now. They’re all for sure in that dirt mountain waiting for chips, similar to how a bunch of broncos were there waiting on hardtops

I paid $100 to stop my ASS from being so intrusive and turning off on me so that sounds like a great deal!

I don’t think the hex code diagnostics have anything to due with a chip hold. Modules indicate a vehicle has gone through the final assembly nothing else.

Considering that both Ford and GM have now done this for a bunch of (generally larger) vehicles, you have to suspect they would try the same thing with the Bronco, IF that chip were the only thing holding up a bunch of trucks.

I'm going to guess that at least 95% of Bronco buyers would take that deal, including me, and I'm not even particularly against (or for) the feature.

My dealership told me not to expect mine until 2023 and I went with a large dealership.

Has anyone received their order with my specs below? Reserved 8/20. Ordered 3/21 and reordered 9 or 10/21.

2-dr, badlands, saq pkg, lux pkg, tow pkg, hardtop

I suspect that if you hunt around on these forums, you will find some like that which have been delivered, but not many. I am certain you would also find people who reserved similar or identical builds on 7/13-14 and haven't gotten scheduled.

Ford is manufacturing all Bronco combinations, but the two-door hardtops, lux packages and especially tow packages Ford are obtaining from its suppliers are not enough to keep up with the % of reservations with those options.

There is nothing about builds that limit production IMO. Just look at the build week spreadsheets with real recent builds. All options are there and no trends. It’s a myth that a particular build slows production. Dealer allocation is the real limitation. See link in my signature

I am a 7/14/20 reservation and ordered Jan 2021 and Oct 2021. 2 door, BL, lux. I do not have sasquatch and recently dropped tow package 6 weeks ago. I haven't even sniffed a build date and preparing myself for very end of 2022 or beginning of 2023. My dealer hasn't speculated on when to expect it. I did go with mod bumper and roof rack if that makes any difference in all this.

Dealer allocation. Not your build.
