MIC and Ford Bronco Configure/Build

Is it just me, but why hasn't Ford updated its website to show the "alleged" actual gray MIC top and still shows the black MIC in all the photos? Seems like it would be an easy fix and certainly aide a lot of us in making color choices, unless they still have not made the MIC decision and/or two just want to suck more folks in with the allure of a black top? Odd.

Could just be my eyes, but I think it is the gray top in B&P shown

Whenever you start a rant with "is it just me", the answer is yes, it's probably just you.

A lot of the light gray and silver is the reflection caused by the texture/material under flash and harsh lighting in some photos.

As I’ve said in other posts, the A51 color looks nothing like the B&P images. Neither does the top. Both are significantly lighter in person.

This looks grey.

MIC also isn't as grey as the detractors think. Everyone gets worked up when they see it under the absolute worst lighting conditions.

It's also CGI.

I agree! Here's a side by side photo with the overlander at super cel east. No harsh lighting. Actual top is considerably lighter than B&P photos.

That is THE gray MIC roof in question.
The black roof is a deep, rich black color similar to the soft tops.

Thanks, good shot in good natural light. Some of the photos I've seen make it look like it's almost silver, but do hope for the white top.

Remember every single Bronco we have seen in real life has been “concept” or “preproduction” so who knows maybe the CGI will be the real version?

I highly recommend watching the videos to get the best impression of the look, as it will have a lot of different "exposures" of light
for isntance

you can see even in the overcast the difference the light side and shade side make

Plus if you look at some of the shadows being cast, that looks pretty harsh
