For whatever reason, my MOLLE panel I bought from Ford came with a bottle of Texumbra, which is a UV treatment from CoverKing. I'd not though about treating my MGB seats or for that matter, the fender flares - so I thought I would pop in here and ask-

- Any recommendations on UV protection on the MGV or the black fenders?

Another vote for AeroSpace 303. FYI blue bottle and white bottle are the same product. One is marketed towards boats / campers etc (available in larger quantity too) blue is marketed to automotive.

Just ordered a bottle now - looking forward to trying it out! So many folks speak highly of this stuff on B6G.

Are you sure? I'd read some reviews of the blue bottle saying it left things greasy like original armor all.

I can find the thread, but some guy on a forum actually emailed the manufacturer and they confirmed.

I've been using the blue bottle for years. NOT GREASY. Just found out about the white bottle deal from a friend who uses it on his boat and his Vette. The boat cost a GOOD bit more than the Vette.

Mistake people make with Aero 303 is they spray it on and wipe it, and don't wipe it DRY.

I like to spray it on a microfiber, spread it on - let it set for a little bit - and then dry it off with a DRY / CLEAN microfiber.

I picked up this and tried it today on my fender flares. What a noticeable difference! I applied it to a rag and wiped it on as it’s easier to control the overspray.

I‘ve posted some before & after pictures below. Keep in mind the “before” picture is actually “clean,” so you can see the difference it does to remove staining.

Just used used chemical guys today on the fenders, planning on using the 303 tomorrow on the MGV seats.

Yeah I used it on my flares as a quick wipe in between my actual restorer treatment. Also while the top was off I used the 303 on the top and treated all the seals to. We'll see what happens with all this damn rain coming this week. It also seems to work as a decent sponge aplicated tire shine!
