Memphis Speaker Pods

Hello everyone. I know many people have swapped the stock 4" pods for 6.5" pods, but that wasn't what I was looking to do.

I decided to keep the stock speakers running off the headunit and add the Memphis speakers running off an amp.

I know these speakers are meant for powersports applications like SxS and boats, but the mount up perfectly in the bronco and sound really good.

I went with the 6.5 instead of the 8" speakers mainly due to cost (but those 8" woofers with 3 tweeters play insanely loud).

Are they mounted to the pillar? They look good, certainly cut into storage space but that doesnt matter to all (including me). I hvae several friends with the marine pods (larger) on their boats and they are freaking loud. Would not want the larger ones behind my head in the cab

Yes they are screwed into the factory holes below the pods. It's a regular M8 thread
