Memphis 12” Tailgate Subwoofer

Has anyone purchased and installed the Memphis 12” Tailgate Mounted Subwoofer and box?





I am currently running the 8” kicker in the original subwoofer location with the kicker 500.1 at 2ohms and have been very underwhelmed.

Also anyone with a tailgate subwoofer kept the B&O Subwoofer running off the stock amp and the tailgate mounted subwoofer running off an aftermarket amp? I think this can be done with the plugnplaykits.com sub harness which I have.

I would appreciate any and all thoughts and opinions.

Did you seal the port on the stock enclosure or left it open?
