Hey! Just sharing our experience here. We have had red Maxtrax in the past and they start off a true red but fade in the sun to closer of a code orange. Hope this helps! The only color we have seen from Maxtrax that changes/fades is Red. Keep in mind we have not had every color of maxtrax though.

Not sure if that will be good or bad..haha The orange is probably the badlands orange?

Closer to Traffic Cone/Construction barrel orange really.

I figured I'd resurrect an old thread versus starting a new one. Has anyone with the code orange graphics package mounted Maxtrax?

I sold off my drab green ones that I had on my army green 2020 4Runner TRD Pro when I got rid of it last year. Finally got what I needed to add a mount onto my TrailRax and am trying to figure out if I want to go "safety orange," "FJ Red," or perhaps something like their gun metal color.

I've always liked the bright look of "safety orange" but figure they're going to look terrible with the code orange graphics and accents. I'm leaning towards "FJ Red" based on assuming it will look pretty close to code orange but also don't want it to clash.

I wheel a lot myself and haven't had a winch since my Jeep and like having the boards as a bit of a security item with the amount of deep sand we have out here.
