Installation was easy, but after a few weeks I was stopped by a driver to let me know that the right tail light was out. I took it apart, and re-installed it. That seemed to work for a few hours. Then the same. I noticed that when switching from auto to on… they seem to work again. I’m pretty disappointed at myself for rushing into this purchase without researching. I kept my OEM of course, but a bit salty about loosing the smoked grey look.

Uh oh, I haven’t installed mine yet as I am waiting for warmer weather.

so i had the same issue with the reverse lights. what i found out is the connector was coming loose, and the tab, although seated, was not snug. i put the connector back on, applied some electrical tape, tested before putting it back together, and then put everything back. has been fine for a few years now.

if i was installing again i would 100% tape both connectors, not only makes sure it's secure but also keeps any debris out.
