I played on the beach this past weekend and aired down to 18 psi. When I got off the beach I put 35 psi in all four. The light stayed on. Indicator showed two tires were low, one psi off from the others. I rechecked them. I read what the manual said and drove home 2 hours. The light stayed on. The next day light came back on but only showed one tire was low. What makes no sense is that tire shows the same pressure as two others1? Any ideas or suggestions? TIA

UPDATE:
Thanks for all the replies.

I drove it for two tanks and did notice a MPG drop. Then I put 44psi +/- in all four and light went out. The MPG went back to 20+.

You have to air the tires up close to 39 to turn the light off, then you can go back down to the desired 35.

This drove me so crazy that I finally broke down and ordered the ODB2 adapter and used the free trial of Forscan to fix the threshold.

Now the light turns off around 30/32 where I want it.

I air down to about 20 psi nearly every time I go off road, then air back up when I get back to pavement. I generally go back up to at least 38 and have a 4-tire inflator system, so they're all usually quite close to the same. The low pressure light always goes off immediately when I start it - no need to drive a distance first. After sitting overnight outside in cold weather I might see 36 or occasionally even 35, but no complaints about low tire pressure.

One weird thing that has happened a couple of times is that the left rear tire will sometimes show the pressure of the spare, and I have no idea why. I haven't seen that again for a long time, though.

Been there before too. 35 is the minimum before the light comes on. Now I fill mine to 36psi and it clears the light. My thought is its showing 35 but it might be 34.6psi.
