I have 2024 2 door. Thinking about getting a roof top tent. Wondering what people have and what they think of it.

Product, pros & cons and pictures would be appreciated.

Stay away from roofnest! They’re a garbage company and their tents are notorious for rusting and leaking and mold. I’ve had very good luck with free spirit recreation. I especially like how just about every part of the tent can be disassembled and replaced easily if need be. Alucab and ikamper are also very nice quality but I don’t have personal experience with them. A lot of the other brands such as 4x4 Colorado are just rebranding a cheap Chinese tent so they all look the same.
I like mine (the free spirit recreation aspen V2) it’s pretty light weight, and doesn’t stick out a bunch, but the cons are not being able to have a lot of bedding stored in there. Currently I have a deflated air mattress, sleeping bag and heated blanket in there, the pillows have to stay in the truck.
My awning also mounts directly to the tent and I have a ski carrier bolted to the top during the winter

I’m also looking for my 24 2Dr. I just rented an IKamper Mini. It was a little too heavy both for my OEM roof rack, as well as for me to open and close it by myself. If you don’t already have a roof rack that’s what you should investigate first. The stock one is limiting in the dynamic weight it can hold. Also, if you go off road, it can be annoying to have to pack the tent and close it up every single morning and reopen it and get all your stuff back up there every night. The iKamper was also pretty high., won’t fit in my garage, and I got real nervous, going under some low branches.
