This is why I disabled ALL Updates w our Broncos
& disabled Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
& never connected to any phone, and never will

Yes it either works or it doesn't.
If it doesn't then prob sell it or go lemon law. Cause Ford is pretty lousy at fixing any problems w software / programming
OTA updates are a completely separate deal from FDRS programming, but I hear ya! We live in an age where a completely functional vehicle can be turned into a lawn ornament via the internet...hard to trust this tech!

the whole terminator and skynet is taking over the world seemed like such science fiction when the movies came out. Now.......

First thing I did after everything was signed and I was still sitting at the dealer…I turned off the auto updates. Hopefully ownership gets better…if they can first fix this mess.

Couple ways to get help -

A) Call BBB Auto Line and let them negotiate for you. This will definitely get Ford's attention
- Filing a Case w BBB Auto Line
- BBB Auto Line website

B) Call Ford Customer Care and request a Case Agent be assigned to your problem
Thanks for the tips. Dealer still has the bronco and says they still can’t get ford to help for some reason.

I will call ford customer care and see what I can get done

The answer is no if you don't ask. The worst they can say is no.
The part isn’t called for until the warranty claim is submitted, they could put it back on if that would get it back on the road. (It likely wouldn’t)
