*Edited to add final mock-up/choices and my inspiration pic so you can get a better idea of my styling.

Hi! My bronco Badlands is getting delivered this week after being a day one res holder! šŸ˜€ I’ve decided I’m going to customize it to be similar to a heritage edition with the money I’ve been saving all this time! I’d love some input on color and design suggestions for the Katzkin seats!

2022 Badlands 4D soft
Paint: Robins Egg Blue ( Custom)
Grill and Wheels: powder coated White
Red accents instead of the orange

For the seats I’m torn! I don’t want too much white because of kids/off-road occasionally. But I’d like it to look high end and a nod to the heritage edition that will flow with my Robins Egg/ White design.

I’d love any thoughts!

Katzkin has some great options, but the way you describe, especially with the kids and occasional off-road, I'd almost go with a dark color seat (hides wear and dirt pretty well) with one of their diamond patterns in the center of the seat and seat back, but with a light color stitching, perhaps white or a light blue. Checks all your boxes... hides dirt, pattern gives it a high end appearance and comfort, stitching matches your HE... but that's just me!

Sounds an awful like my daughter’s dream Bronco! She wants to do a heritage look in Brittney Blue (you might want to check out that classic color) with an off white, and those were/are often done with anything from a cream or off-white to tan or something similar to the roast offered in the OBX. Here are some links to some expensive beauties for inspiration.

Have fun with it!

This is very similar to my inspiration pic!! Thank you.
I just wanted my color to pop slightly more. But those mahogany seats would definitely work well with the Georgia clay I’ll be competing with. šŸ˜€ I wonder what color that brown would Be similar to with Katzkin!

I got Katzkin for my A51. I went with this type of Brown because it has a retro feel. For yours, a lighter brown or tan may look super sweet. The double diamond stitch is the way to go to elevate the look I think.

Good luck! Sounds gorgeous already.
Dude!!! Love your Bronco!! Great job!!!
2 questions. What did you use to paint your grill? Also, what color were those seats?? Definitely taking your suggestion for the Diamond!

Bronco script for the win!

Mahogany is the brown I used. The installer said he would have gone with a lighter brown for more retro feel. With yours, you can totally pull off the lighter brown.

And I painted by grill the same color as possible as the gunmetal on the Fuel Shok wheels. I'm not exactly sure what type of gray, but thanks for noticing. I think most think it's the normal gray that comes with some.

Please post pics of yours when you get yours!

Ok!! So here are the two mock-ups I’ve settled between. I’ve also included an inspiration pic of the bronco styling/colors that I’m emulating with my Badlands. Bronco letters on grill will be red. As will the orange details I’ll be changing to red on interior. I’d love some thoughts/ feedback! I’m leaning towards the lighter brown/ orangish seat.

That two tone is sweeeeet... but retro feel would be the lighter tan. It's going to look really awesome.

The other thing I will say is as I did 1 thing at a time, I made adjustments. Iterative process was the best thing b/c what I thought was good at one time, once I saw the what it really looked like, I pivoted.

Of the 2, the lighter I think will look much better. If there is a more yellow, less red/orange tan I think that would be even better. You're Bronco is going to be one of the nicest out there. Any chance you'll do the rollbar white too?
