I just got the Mabett Modular bumper lights installedin my 2022 Badlands. The yellow/orange lights are switched with factory fog light switch and the white lights are switched with an Aux switch. When either set of lights are on the FM radio has so much static that it's hard to hear any sound. Has anyone else experienced this, and what did you do to correct the interference problem? Thank you for any help you can give.

This may be completely different as this was on my Jeep. Have switch pros mounted near the roof along with my mobile radio mounted right in front of it. For a while it was fine until one day anytime I turned on my lights (aux switch), the radio got terrible interference.

After googling around, I realized some power/ground lines were running side by side, separated them and a couple of ferrite cores did the trick, haven't had an issue since.

LED lights are noisy. If they are made correct they have filters to take away the noise, if not they emit the noise and interfere with the radio, CB, GMRS, or key fobs.

What you might be able to do is get a few of these Chock put them on the power lines to the LED's. Wrap the power wires though them.

I added a pair of Harbor Fright LED fog lights to my Jeep, started experiencing static on the lower-power FM stations. My gut says that lower-priced/lower-quality LED lights may be worse than better ones (but have no data to back up that suspicion).

This is not a solution, but info about another brand you may want to try. I run a bunch of ZROADZ 3" Pod lights on my rack wired to an Aux switch. They do not interfere with my GMRS or FM radio.

Maybe give them a try?

I have Ford Performance (Rigid) ditch lights that cause static on the old FM!
