Daily Driver. Been hunting out of a F350 for 18 years. We’re both over it. Black Diamond for me, but I’d go Big Bend mid if I could get cloth seats w/ rubber floors. YouTube has cured me of any rock crawling dreams. I too am leery of off roading a $60k vehicle, so keep it down to 45 and go have fun.

Daily driver, camping, and some moderate off-roading, although we don't have many places to go in Massachusetts. You guys in California and Utah have some pretty amazing places to go. I don't see rock crawling in a $50K vehicle, but I'm happy to borrow one of yours!

I just hope this doesn't happen when I show up to the office:

80% DD and SoCal beach cruising with the top off.
20% off-road.
Black Diamond / 2.7L/ MID

Tried to follow some Jeeps with my current Subaru Forester XT and ended up ripping the bumper off because of the crap approach angle.
So I figured I should upgrade to something I won't damage as bad on a trail.

But here's a question. If you are only going to rarely do off-roading, are the Wildtrak tires just too much? Similar to how with the Rubicon, you can get a Sahara with the bette road tires? I reserved a Wildtrak and First Edition, and I'm just wondering if I'm going to regret the big tires since I'll mostly be doing road driving. Is the difference that extreme (in terms of road noise, etc.) from the Sasquatch tires (which I think is standard on Wildtrak) and the more all-terrain ones on the non-sasquatch trims?

Again these are easy questions for me to answer. LOL.... But I will be grabbing this Bronco to go from the Philadelphia house to the Jersey Shore House with the top and the doors off Beach time baby

I intend to have the baddest looking Badsqautch my local Forest Service Roads have ever seen. Those little ruts and bumps will quake when they see my ride deftly taking them on.
Thats going to be me. Definitely planning on showing up my buddy’s F150 up on a trail he couldn’t make though.

I’ll be swapping to K02s. Daily driving MTs that will see zero off-road is not worth the hassle. K02 have the grip for off road, the smoothness for daily driving and still give you that aggressive off road look.

Me, daily driver, work commuter. 100Km a day (Ugh!).
Definitely a "weekend warrior" but I really wanna head out on long tours into the Dakotas, Utah, Colorodo , etc. Find out what all this overlanding is about.

I've said it before on different threads so may as well again on this one - Black Diamond will provide 99% of the capability that 99% of Bronco owners should ever need. The hard-core baja racers and rock crawlers need more, but just like with Jeeps they will make up a slim proportion of actual owners.

Intended use:

Summer - Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, Ophir Pass, and many other passes in SW Colorado. Access to hiking trail heads, fishing trips to Alpine Lakes, carrying SUPs, and Kayaks.

Winter - Driving in deep snow, ice, climbing steep grades in tough conditions
Would be cool to get a group together for Black Bear Pass and some other trails

I picked the OBx because it provided me with the most options for my needs, I wanted more interior comforts (Not a leather person) with the ability to climb out of and go around High water in south Texas and I can to it on camping trips with worrying that if something goes wrong I can ride out and over. I'll probably upgrade to larger tires and a lift later. if they'll do it, I may later invest in the "Big Foot" package from FORD, if not there will be willing outfitters.

For me, its an opportunity to own something that was designed years ago but could never own one. Now I'm older and wiser and I'm going to take it for a ride where ever the street ends and the dirt roads begin- hopefully its not off the cliff
