Are these able to be just left on with the soft top fully closed?
I've heard having something between the passenger compartment and the soft top can help with noise a little bit.

Are these safe to have on at speed, like freeway speeds?

Yes and yes. You need to unclip the front clips above the mirror to close the top though. I've tested these to 85 mph and they stay put.

I would say yes based on the description on their website:

• CUSTOM FIT---This mesh top is designed for Ford Bronco 2021 2022 2023 4 Door. NOT for Bronco 2 Door. NOT for Bronco Sport. ATTENTION: There is 3inch gap on the windshield side of the screen to windshield to make sure the soft top can be closed.

It works but your mid panel latches are covered up.

I keep mine on halfway. I take the bungees off the front half and fold it back on itself. I have access to all latches except back 3. Those I just reach between the mesh top and rollbar to latch. Pretty simple and the only thing I have to store is 6-8 little bungee cords.
