I went with Freedom Ford in Greenville, TX (which is a long-ass way from Mansfield) after my local dealer - AutoNation Ford in Arlington screwed me. I found out about Freedom Ford from a guy I met at the Bronco Off-Roadeo in Austin who got his from there, so hopefully all will go as planned and I'll only pay MSRP. If you haven't already joined the Texas Bronco 6th Gen group on FaceBook (Texas Bronco 6th Gen) you might want to. Maybe get some local DFW area Broncos together in the near future.

Well, after I reserved my Bronco in October of 2020, I didn't make the actual order and just sat on the reservation until, at some point, my reservation was assigned to AutoNation-Arlington. And rather than consult with me about placing the firm order, they placed the order in my name anyway without my knowledge in order to snag the dealer allocation. And without my input on color, options, etc. When I found out about it I was pissed, especially when the dealer blew me off and ignored my calls and emails. Then, I tried to shift my order to the Freedom Ford dealer in Greenville, TX but that became a problem because AutoNation-Arlington refused to release their Bronco allocation (which, again, was made in my name without my knowledge) unless Freedom Ford gave them one of their allocations in return. So, I had to raise holy hell with the manager of AutoNation Ford about the underhanded way they had been dealing with me, and it was only after a lot of bullshit did they finally turn my allocation over to Freedom Ford. It was NOT easy. And even with all that - and even though my reservation was made in October of 2020 - the actual order date ended being March of this year, and with the build date of the car being just this month in December, and a shipment date TBD. So, that's the story. I'll never give any of my business of AutoNation-Arlington. And they won't get any of my Bronco repair work, either.
