Hey all, I have the 10-speed auto transmission and started to notice an issue at around 6k miles. When I accelerate and then stop shortly thereafter (Houston traffic), I can feel what I can only describe as some type of bump in the trans (kinda feels like a gear shift). Then, when I am at a complete stop and take my foot off the brake, I feel a similar bump. It's kinda hard to explain, but it is beginning to worry me. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've owned many many cars over the years and never felt anything like this. *auto stop/start is disabled

Sounds like the slip yoke might be binding and needing to be lubed. This was common issue on F150's. Do a search for "f150 drive shaft clunk" on google.
Whoa, that’s interesting. Thanks!

My F150 did the same thing dealer couldn't find anything wrong and said it was because of the 10 speed.

I googled "f150 drive shaft clunk" and watched a video of the problem. They described EXACTLY what I am experiencing. I am going to make an appointment at my stealership next week.

Mine does it too. I think it’s pretty normal - I attribute it more to the soft off road suspension than the trans. I don’t hear or feel any clunk, just kind of a very soft small bump.

I was just thinking the other day how similar this 10at feels to the CVT in wife’s Subaru

Another vote for getting the little 4 banger and Chinese manual transmission. LOL
Can't think of anything better to add to enjoyment of driving in traffic, perhaps an A/C delete, would come close.

Sounds made up. Like you might also want to check the flux capacitor. 🤣

No, it’s permanently disabled
May I ask how you got the auto start/stop permanently disabled cause I would love to do that too!

Globally sourced mass manufacturing is going to be a difficult pill to swallow.

Definitely don't look up where most of the content in your Bronco comes from.

FORSCAN can turn the feature off. There are also a number of OBDII dongles which directly disable the feature.
