Is 4A a deal breaker?

Completely agree!
I grew up driving in the frequent rain on the Gulf Coast (Houston). The hot ticket for a hot-headed teenager was to try and light up the tires/hang the ass end out at every opportunity.
Nowadays, I'm O-L-D, and I paid lots of money for this truck.
So I use 4A when it gets slicky, and it works great!!!

I hear ya. Sitting at a light, going straight, or turning right into coming traffic while raining....no tire slippage...just GO !!!

I used 4A today. There's this steep, winding, paved road in the Snoqualmie Valley known as Novelty Hill Road. There are a couple road signs about halfway up the road that we maintain by trimming brush and washing them down about once a year or so. There's a pullout on the uphill side of the road, that's mostly dirt and/or really large gravel. I switched into 4A before we pulled into the pullout. We took care of the signs (kind of death defying crossing over to the other side to get the downhill sign - remember that old computer game, "Frogger?"). Then we pulled back out onto the road, no sweat. Without 4A I'd have to either leave it in 2H and possibly not have traction while getting back into traffic, or I'd be in 4H while driving on the pavement and getting up to speed. Gee, I can't imagine how I used to do this in my 2001 F-150, but I managed somehow.

Actually got pulled a week early..salesman never got back to me when I wanted to make changes earlier..thought about cactus gray but definitely happy with carbon as I saw one last week so I'm excited at how it looks in person
That being said I'm at msrp but wondering what manager meant by making things right..I'm always a fan of customer is always right..lol
Does anyone here have anything that was thrown in when they got their Bronco besides an ADM.

This dealer is quite far from me but seemed to be the best to deal with or so I thought..that being said there are bunch of Broncos landing on lots within 20 miles of me ..and I could probably do msrp..and have within 2-3 weeks..but again have to deal with another salesman

I lived without it on my old Xterra. Put Blizzaks on it and rarely used 4wd on the street. Good winter tires without 4A will be better than stock with 4A.

4A would be nice, but it is an expensive option. A much better upgrade for driving in snow is just buy the correct tires. I can’t believe the people who show up in Montana driving on worn out tires that are surprised that they got stuck even though they have 4WD.

Base + snow tires will be better in snow than 4A with any other tire.

Maybe if you are made out of money, then yes. But I am just a fly fishing guide/ski patroller about to retire. I’m not a moneybags guy, but my everyday life is far better than most peoples vacations, so I am happy with a Base. The very small improvement is not worth the sizeable increase in cost IMHO.
