Hello everyone, thanks for creating an informative place for discussions on Broncos. I was finally able to get the trim level I have wanted for a while and recently purchased a 2023 Everglades with very low miles.

My question is for those of you that have both a hard and soft top. Any significant issues going from one to the other?

Also, any tips on making the transition between tops run smoother and a little quicker? It took me over an hr today to switch From hard top to soft top.

The hard top isn’t too bad to take off or put on. Especially if you do a pulley system. It can be done solo (especially with a pulley) but is very easy with two people.

The soft top though - I haven’t found a good way around just having two people and being careful. It’s heavy and awkward, even with two people. I tried solo one time and it’s just too hard to get it around the C pillars without royally messing them up. Might be able to rig some sort of pulley up for it, but it’s a totally different beast than the hard top

Hardware wise - once it’s been done once and all aligned up, it’s just 6 bolts off / 6 bolts on for either top.

The soft top is a big enough pain in the ass that I only swap it on in the Spring and leave it until Winter
