This was my plan. Not a shop in town that will wrap the roof - must be 100% flat. Even sanding it, I am told, will not adhere as the shape must be formed, not modified, as it will "sweat" and eventually crack.
I heard this from Ford, a few body shops and I even took it to Jeep.
How exactly did you do the top?
For what it's worth, I gave up and went with the soft top. Never been happier, but I still like the white top look.
