Interior Dome & Cargo Light removal

I bought brighter LED Dome & Rear Cargo lights made for 2023 Bronco. Does anyone know how to remove the OEM lights without messing them up?

Putty knives worked for me...just have to try hitting the little metal holders.

Is those metal holders on the top and bottoms or on the sides?

You won't hit the metal tab and you will bend it while removing it. Yes, it has happened to me several times. I just need to find some replacement tabs. It looks like they should just pop off and on.
