Installing Oracle LED grill letters. Need advice please.

We have the wiring good to go and planned to use an add a circuit using the fuse box under the hood in a headlamp slot. They light up great but stay on all the time. Engine not even on. Now trying using interior fuse box. Seems to have same issue. Anybody have any suggestions or will it just not work this way?

A lot of things stay on for 30 minutes. You have to find the fuse that truly turns off with the ignition. I personally use a switch for now. One day I hope to tie them into the DRL circuit somehow.

I have the oracle lights and used the the middle 10 fuse. (I can take a picture tomorrow) they would sometimes stay on but would eventually turn off.

It's the second fuse up. Pull it out, put new in. Comes on with parking lights.

We kept working at it and trying different fuse slots. Ended up with same one you are using. Thanks for the info.

Do you by chance have a before you wired the Oracle grill letters and after pic? And one add on you used to connect the red wires from the letters to the fuse?

I have letters in hand. Want them on whenever the car is on, and have spent more time than I want to admit trying to navigate how to connect power for that to happen.

I had the back lit lights, then went to the full lit letters. I have them powered to my headlights, so they only come on when the headlights do. You could do the same with the running lights.

No but I can unplug it all and go to stock. Then replug and take another picture. Give me a few hours. Just got off nights, about to crash.

Mine will look like the before…. So if you just have the info on any wiring accessories you needed and how you used them- that might be enough to get me through what I need.

Here's the fuse I used and it turns on and off immediately when you have the car on acc or on...its the last fuse in the row pictured..used for the oracle lights, the raptor lights, and the fog yellows (that turn white when on)

Did you use the fuse lead from Oracle lighting? Or another source? That wasn't something I included in my Christmas list of the lights - so wondering if I need order again from them, or if there is an alternate source.

I had first tried the Amazon full light letters and didn’t like the look - but it did come with a nice buttoned up harness with 6 plugs and the mate for each of the lights as well… so I just soldered them to the oracle lights and then leveraged the harness going across the grille and then up the side to the battery. I guess it ended up being a really expensive harness since I didn’t use the Amazon lord letters , but it seemed like the easiest thing to do at the time!!! From the fuse box I ran out from there and to a ground, then I have 1 plug used that the raptor lights and letters connect to so when I take the grille off then it’s one disconnect for everything…I can take a pic if it’s not making sense….

Curious what you didn’t like about the full lit letters. I bought them myself too, but haven’t installed yet because I’m on the fence.

It was a bit too bright for me… then I thought about putting vinyl letters on top to mute it a bit, but then also noticed the shape of the letters are not very close to the OEM stock shape. The Oracles just seemed closer and even with the oracles I put vinyl on top to match the body color!!

the fuse you pulled out of that spot, what did it control originally? Im doing the same process but it’s on my 22’ Wildtrak with Lux. I would like to use that location with a tap fuse but want to make sure it don’t disable any other features.
The diagram I found shows it is for the transmission control module???
