Installing OEM Aux Switches

Hi All,
I took my Big Bend to my local dealership today to have them install the Aux switches. They previously ordered the parts they said it would require for the install. Within two hours they called me to let me know the Bronco doesn’t have the wiring harness in the A-pillar. I thought that was an obvious but apparently not. They are stating they would have to run custom wiring. I know that to be untrue from posts I’ve been on here.

I have a part number for the wiring harness on an Outerbanks. Before I order the part I want to ensure, it’s the same part number for a Big Bend. Anyone have the A-Pillar wiring harness part number required for a Big Bend?

These guys sell it and can install it. I know it's far away from you but they got the kit. Not sure what you dealer is charging, but Middleton is sponsor here and seems to know what they are doing. I think it's the same part for OBX or BB.

Middleton says this is the correct harness for the switches with the mid package that has vanity lights..... I'm doing the same

How do you know if you have the wiring in the A pillar? I have a 2022 Outer Banks with the High / Lux package but it didn’t come with the Aux switch and I want to install it - thanks

So I thought my big bend didn't have the wiring in the A pillar because I didnt have the aux switches installed until I talked to my Dad who's worked for Ford his entire life (recently retired) and he told me they always run the wires for things like this even if the option in question wasn't installed. Just went out and checked under my hood and sure enough, the wire bundle is there! To look on yours to see if you have it, pop your hood and look in the far back right of the compartment. There should be a bundle of wires taped up back there.

Just an update, I was able to add the OEM switches. My Big Bend had the colored wires under the hood but they lead to nowhere. They had to switch the wiring harness, switch the fuse box, and then obviously switch out the sun glass holder for the switches. I thought they would have to be programmed, but nope they worked plug and play.

parts ran about 400. I know the guy at the dealership that works on all the electrical components so he did it on his free time for a case of beer and a Starbucks gift card, however if they did charge the labor rate it would’ve been closer to 1100.
