Installing modular bumper on my 2022 Wildtrak?

Good evening fellow Broncos,

I have the standard plastic bumper that came with my wildtrak 2022, a friend of mine is selling modular bumper with sensors and everything included, would I be able to run it? I noticed that my front bumper may not have the sensors. I didn't get the high lux package. Just the wildtrak stock.

Thanks, any advice helps.

I saw a video that I may have to saw off the hooks. He’s selling me the bumper for super cheap and everthing included.

I've seen some bumper swap Vids on youtube. I seems to be not as simple as one might expect.

It's definitely possible to make the switch but you have to make sure you get all of the necessary mounting brackets. Not sure if he got an aftermarket bumper or what... but sometimes aftermarket bumpers have you re-use some of the factory brackets.

And also obviously you'll have holes where his sensors used to be.

It is pretty straightforward. Watch a video. Make sure you have the metal plate that replaces the plastic guard, and cut the tow hooks. 1-2 hrs max if you are taking your time. Also, mod bumper is way heavier, 2 person job.

I went from plastic bumper to a raptor bumper on my 2022 Wildtrak. I did a write up on this site. It was very straight forward. I ordered replacement supports so that I wouldn't have to cut the hoops off the existing supports.

An electric impact wrench and a someone to help you lift it in place, and you can do it in less than an hour, specially since you won't have to take the bumper apart to run the sensor wires.

What metal plate?
Do you happen to have the parts or numbers of them? Sorry I’m a newbie .

I’ve seen some mod bumpers for $250 so I’d like to get one
