Good thing that they didn't put removable roof and doors on. Or make it available in the convertible. Earlier todayi agree just right size
Someone may have already asked, but how did it perform in the snow?I'm eagerly awaiting my "full size" Bronco! I didn't give the Bronco Sport a second thought until I saw one at my local Dealership. They let me take it for a ride and I was surprised how comfortable it was a large human. Its small but the seats were comfortable for me at least. They are using this one as a Demo with plans to auction off for a charity. Big Bend edition.
I did a vid if anyone wants to check it out (I'm not a professional reviewer so take it for what it is): Bronco Sport test ride

If Ford would have made the 2.0 standard and possibly put the 2.3 or even the 2.7 in Badlands/FE the Sport would have been awesome. I absolutely love the styling and the only part that irks me is how the rear seems a tad short.
Loved your "big hat" test. LOL. Overall, well done. Thank you for posting.I'm eagerly awaiting my "full size" Bronco! I believe Fords reasoning would have been it would kill the Explorer line but they could have just made the Explorer look just as soft and bad as the Escape while the Sport could have been a direct competitor to the Grand Cherokee. It needs to be slightly larger in my opinion. Back seat is a little cramped, but the design is spot on. If there were about 3 more inches in rear legroom, and the 2.0 standard, I’d probably buy one.
Funny you should say the Cherokee because while I was checking out the Sport,I thought it was more comparable to the Cherokee Trail Hawk than the little square Renegade.I believe Fords reasoning would have been it would kill the Explorer line but they could have just made the Explorer look just as soft and bad as the Escape while the Sport could have been a direct competitor to the Grand Cherokee.
It’s actually the length of the compass but it’s taller and it’s boxy shape gives it more space inside.Funny you should say the Cherokee because while I was checking out the Sport,I thought it was more comparable to the Cherokee Trail Hawk than the little square Renegade.
Been driving the injured wife around in her 2020 Escape 2.0l AWD and not happy with the steering as well. Think about 500 miles so far. I'll go out on a limb and assume the steering gear is largely the same as in the BS.There was some steering wander as others have mentioned.
