If it disappoints, what will you drive?

Gonna drive it until I can't stand it any longer.
Then plan B is a toss up:
Wrangler Rubi Recon 4 dr for the open air experience
or
Toyota Tundra 4 dr
or
Raptor 4 dr
or
Take all that (hopefully) recouped money and dump it into my 59 Apache 6.2LS project.

We already have the 2020 Z71 4 dr for truck needs, so probably the Rubi. Work on the Apache as funds/Time allows.

Would depend if this news happened fast and my deposit wasn’t too large. If that was the case I’d stick with what I got and put a reservation in for a 2022 and hope for the best. Not in a rush and happy I won”t take delivery until later next year.

Hot damn thread resurrection! It's before my time as a member so as Charles Manson said "if I haven't seen it, it's new to me!"

If the Bronks a bust I'll just keep driving my JK until the wheels fall off. No other vehicle out there has my attention. If it got totaled tomorrow I'd probably find a 17 or 18 JK and just rinse and repeat. Maybe then the 7th gen Bronco would be out and I'd come back.

I'm admittedly a fanboy for the revival of the Bronco. I love bringing back the old nameplates, and the current generation of vehicles is sadly lacking rugged, all-terrain oriented options. I'll curse the powers that be if the new Bronco disappoints, but I will probably have worn out my Ranger by the time it releases. I was thinking about what I would consider if the Bronco goes the way of the new "Blazer". What are your back-up alternatives?

I’m retiring soon and will need a personal car by June or July at the latest. If I don’t get my Bronco by then I’ll have to look at the Jeep V8 392 Wrangler.
