I hadn't noticed this myself, so thanks for asking. Good to know!

Electric. It's getting very, very challenging to find hydraulic setups these days. The F-150 has been electric for a decade now, and even pure-bred sports cars known for their handling and steering have gone electric (Miata, 911, exotics...).

TGF electric steering -- said by someone that at various times had to replace a fifth-gen Corvette's the power steering rack, pump, and hoses, all of which included wrenching on nearly impossible to reach hose fittings, as well as rack removal requiring partially dropping the engine cradle to be able to draw the rack out the left wheel well, while twisting the rack left and right like maneuvering through maze to clear the engine, ABS pump, frame bits, etc.

The "feel" of electric steering has greatly improved over the years, to the point that I forget that the steering on my 2019 seventh-gen Corvette is electric.

Hydraulic is all but gone, the WRX STI still has it, my NC Miata has it, but thats about it. I had a BRZ with electric and although good, doesn't come close to the NCs steering.

NC is the 3rd gen Miata.

With the ND (4th gen), they went to electric.

Hydraulic is dead and good riddens. All those driver steering aids require electronic.
