How to remove scuffs from door panel?

There was hard plastic rubbing against the door panel and it left this scuff. Does anyone know anything to cover it or to take it off?

heat gun is what I’ve heard, not tried it personally. Go on YouTube and search heat gun to remove scratches on plastic. There are some good hits to watch

Products like this can help mask minor scuffs. Do entire panel. I use the spray ceramic wax, but I believe this is better. Not magic. I won’t fix scratches. Little heat gets rid of the scuff and this blends the surface shine if you will.

Start with a very hot damp wash rag. The panels are made from milk jug plastic so it doesn't take much to mar them nor bring them back if it is just a scuff mark. Use heat guns/blow dryers as a last resort as it also doesn't take much to distort them.
The ceramic protectants work well also. I used these the 1st week of ownership and so far all my panels still look good.

You will get similar scuffs just putting a yeti in and out of "storage".

Use same interior or exterior spray you use on all other plastic and rubber. Even tire restorer will cover the scuffs.

In another thread using a heat gun brings oils in the plastic to the surface and over time and repeated use can leave the plastic brittle. I only know this from reading it on this forum

Been using heat gun for this issue for many years, works great for scuffs but of course not really deep scratches. Just be sure to pass it back and forth so as not to melt the plastic. As it begins to warm you will see it more less disappear as the plastic “resets” it’s composition. Can always go over it again with granule heating but be sure not to just hold it over in one spot….There are many vids on YouTube that show the process. Works great and looks new again.
