How to Re-Apply Factory Badging?

OK, nice! Did it leave any residue behind to deal with? If so, what did you use to remove it without damaging the paint finish?

I just ordered the script Bronco badges for my OBX, so I'm going down this road soon. Don't know that I'll keep the OBX sticker on the fender, though. May just put one on the tailgate under the bucking bronco, if I can fit it there.

Very little residue. I just used a bit of alcohol and a micro fiber cloth and it was clean. I am still debating if I want to put the original badge under the new emblem, put it on the back like you suggest, or just getting rid of it.

Thanks for that. My personal take is that the legacy script Bronco badge stands on its own, so I'm not going to clutter up the fender with anything else. However, I think it's worth acknowledging the trim package by keeping a sticker on the rig somewhere. If I put it under the bucking bronco on the tailgate, it's going to have to be offset to the right some, given the sticker's height. Not sure if I'll like that or not. May have to find another spot if it looks too crowded there. Wish someone made a smaller OBX sticker.

But, to each his/her own! The beauty of making mods is that we can each do what makes up happy!

I've been thinking the same thing. I wish there was a version that was half the size that we could use. Id buy it if Ford sold it for sure.

The Badlands badge has zero aesthetic value to me - they’re coming off. I’ll keep them with the window sticker in a file cabinet in case I ever sell it and want to put it back to stock. To each their own.
