A great question! Our film does extremely well vs UV exposure!!

This is due to the latest version of our film and the endurance class coatings technology which is built to resist degradation from UV. Typically issues from UV show up in two ways, delamination and yellowing! ExoShield has no reports of yellowing from current generations of our film and because of our endurance class nanocoatings, the clearcoat and hardcoat layers of the film are linked together to prevent delamination from happening!
How well does the film hold up in extreme heat? Temps in my area are currently ranging from 110f(43c) to 118f(48c) for the week. We most likely will not dip back below 100f(38c) until late September.

Edited to add; I also have an 80% ceramic tint on the windshield. Will there be any sort prism effect by adding the protection film?

Greetings! We're ExoShield, a premium windshield protection manufacturer based in Ontario, Canada! We're a brand new sponsor to the forum so we wanted to introduce our product and also hook everyone here with an exclusive promo code to save some $$$ if you're looking to protect your glass.

Recently, we released ExoShield ULTRA, our do-it-yourself windshield protection film that goes on the outside of your Bronco's windshield! We've seen the comments, these windshields are breaking too easily so we developed a solution specifically for Bronco owners.

ExoShield ULTRA!
This film is different because it's made with YOU in mind. It's based on our original GT3 film, but 60% THICKER to give even more impact resistance. This allows you to drive without worry of needing another windshield replacement! With an approximate 30-minute install time, we're hoping this can be your glass protection solution!

Here's what you're really looking for-
Below is an active promo code that saves forum members 10% on ExoShield ULTRA kits for YOUR vehicle.
Type the code BUCKSTONECHIPS10 for 10% off your purchase!

We have toolkits full of everything you'd need for the installation, long and short walkthrough videos to get a clean result, written directions if that's your flavor, and shops available who can install the kit for you!

Have questions? Drop them below and we'd be happy to answer them!
What is the life expectancy of this product under normal NE conditions? Should I expect to get 5 year? 10? Before salt, sun and grime create damage.

The windshield is laminated so it blocks UV already. The sensors will only be effected if the film blocks light.

Any problem adding an e.g. Gyeon ceramic coating on the film or not necessary?

What about the wipers, will it cause scratches and streaks from using the wipers?

I am hesitant on getting other familiar products due to this issue

This is a great question!!

Windshield wipers themselves will not scratch ExoShield! The risk of scratching rises when the windshield is covered in sand or debris from the road that gets impregnated into the soft material of the wiper blade!

We have care guides as well as a list of coatings that help extend the life of ExoShield as well as keep it in good shape! Links below!!
Care Guide: HERE (download the full guide at the bottom of the page)
Compatible Coatings: OVER HERE (there's listed coatings we know are compatible with our product)

We have had many put coating on the film! ExoShield can definitely benefit from a coating. Below is a link to our compatible coatings!

We say that you should expect up to two years of protection! That being said, proper care and maintenance can impact its longevity to be longer! Below is a link to our care guide for tips to extend and get the most out of its life cycle! Also many have benefited from a coating as well! Linking that too!
Care Guide!
Coatings!

Usually one should watch for haziness as a sign of ExoShield being near the end of its life! So that'd be something to watch for after time goes on!

@Dubsesd Tagging you in too! Because you were discussing this too!

ExoShield will not affect this nor keep your headlights on all of the time! We have never had this problem before!

Typically, we don't notice any issues with high temperatures!!

With your mention of tint, we have lots of people who do this tint-ExoShield combo and had no interaction issues between the two!
