It's your truck. When all the others send money, listen to them. Why'd you even ask???
I think most of us wouldn't have said anything. But when someone specifically asks for feedback, the feedback is provided.

Personally, do you my friend. They look homemade. Maybe you used extra material you had around. If you paid for them and youre happy then cool. Maybe i missed the explanation somewhere. If you like em, rock em. My opinion, doesnt matter. But i have always been partial to the weather tech style of mudflaps. Like a hard molded smooth plastic.

No doubt. Anytime you're inspired to employ special skills and capabilities to fabricate something that speaks to you, it becomes art. I'm sure a few people looked at some of Picasso's works and thought, "Why do the eyes look like they came off a halibut or other flounder fish?" Still curious how he made them....water jet, milling, laser. I also like his FORD dog dishes and the tires probably suit his Ottawa locale better than any AT or MT could. Judging from the side spray on his truck, he drives through some slop pretty regularly. Also, the front is lifted on a jack or something in the first picture, so it kind of makes it appear like an attempt at building a gasser Bronco.

I also liked the hubcaps. I actually i think i have an old pair of ford and dodge caps like that in my shed somewhere. Ow im gonna have to dig them out lol.

i agree with the building it yourself part too. I used to bust my brothers balls for making fittings for his sink with his lathe when he can just go to the store but ive since stopped doing that because as i get older i just think that stuff is just damn cool. And thats the guy you want around in a pinch.

I was thinking the same thing, They look like Bridgestone Blizzaks, or a similar dedicated winter tire... When I grew up in the great white north, they were certainly what was needed!

As the old saying goes, “whatever floats your boat”. Looks functional, but “LEGO”. Not my “cup of tea”.
My OBX Sasquatch sports IAG trail shields.
