So do the older controllers that install under the dash not work? I have used Tektronics, (sp), that need a hot and ground wire. There was also a wire that connected to the cold side wire of the brake pedal. The control has a pendulum that would sense the movement of the vehicle. Had in my old Suburban for 15 years, no issues.

This one is also inertia sensing. I suppose the old school ones would still work these are just the latest and greatest and also has programming specifically for offroad and offroad towing where as the old school ones won’t.
