Hoss 3.0 Ordering.

I just had HOSS 3.0 added to mine and kept module bumper. Dealer already sent my update order sheet.

I think that the fact that the modular bumper remains as part of your order is a miss on the part of Ford's ordering system when the BOSS 3.0 is added to your order. They should have automatically removed the modular bumper if you added the BOSS 3.0. There ain't no way they are going to look at your order and remove the powder coated bumper and replace it with the modular bumper. For certainly isn't Burger King where you can have it your way.

Mine did not. Had to have the dealer remove the modular bumper manually.

Newb here so apologies if this is a dumb question. I'm waiting on a Wildtrak order and initially intended to go with the HOSS 3.0 option, but it wasn't available then. So, I'm obviously now thinking about adding it to my order.

My question would be is there any downside here? Will adding HOSS 3.0 prevent me from doing anything to the truck in the future?

I did receive the email from Ford confirming the order so I wonder why it's not showing on my account?

Mine has not updated either. I guess we wait on Ford to accept.

My order has never shown on my Ford account. Is that due to the non-reservation?

I was also, low-key thinking that adding the HOSS would maybe slightly speed it up a bit since it is the new hotness.

Yeah I missed the fact that the price was reduced. But I would think it should have been removed? I guess that begs the question is the HOSS 3.0 powder coated bumper just a modular bumper that has been powder coated?

Ahh, I just saw PrevCYBRTRKrez say that he got updated to MY22.5 pricing on his DORA but that probably isn't related to just the HOSS 3.0 addon.

Yeah, the only thing I did was remove leather and add HOSS. This is how I justified the cost to myself. I can add leather later (for probably less than Ford cost), but I cannot easily and for the same price add HOSS 3.0. I will also note that I already had MOD bumper on my order and the price for that got lowered to $270.

My working theory is that anyone who gets a new DORA now will have the updated pricing. However, we are still price protected according to your group #. I believe this will be via some form of a certificate at time of delivery.

Just got mine added - +$1750 for MY22.5 (base MSRP went from $49475 to $51225) on a WT.

If you select HOSS 3.0, the powdercoated capable bumper is included in that cost. However, you can upgrade to a powdercoated modular bumper for only $270 vs $825 without HOSS 3.0. Both bumpers are powdercoated no matter which trim or series you get.
