I'm on the East Coast of Canada and much of our trails involve tight, twisty trails through the woods. The overall width of the Bronco has made things interesting but manageable but the mirrors, oh god the mirrors stick out, even when folded in. And if you fold them in, they pop back out every time you open the doors.

Some sort of quick disconnect system so I can unplug and remove my power mirrors when doing the super gnarly stuff would be a welcome purchase. Just this year I've whacked both my mirrors. One when it was folded in and we crushed it into the A pillar leaving a small dent in the windshield frame and hit the other one on a tree while it was fully extended. That one came apart in 2-3 pieces. Kudos to Ford though, both mirrors snapped back together and all electronics and cameras still work perfectly fine.

That can’t be a cheap mod. Those assemblies seem to be all one piece.

I would think it would be expensive, but more from creating quick disconnect connectors for the electronics. In my mirrors there's the power adjustment, camera, lights and heating. Then again, what mod these days ISN'T expensive.

I would also assume that a mirror would be pretty expensive to replace.

True. Especially on Broncos. We get a markup on everything. Wiring disconnects shouldn’t be too bad. Just need the tools to add them. The question is how they would be removed for me.

I haven't looked at how the mirrors area actually mounted under the hood, but if I could disconnect the mirror electronics and remove a couple bolts under the hood/cowling, that would be enough for me.

I need this too!, I'd easily pay 600 for this, I lost a mirror months ago to an oddly shaped tree that pushed it in more than the mirror could fold, the rest is history...

yesterday I almost flipped my truck and I the mirror cover broke
