Don’t get me wrong, I love my Bronco and it’s the most fun thing I’ve ever driven but I’m really questioning the long term quality of the hard top and window designs. I’m now waiting to have my second window fixed for “falling off the track” (it basically stops going all the way up, keeps getting stuck on the door instead of dropping when opening, etc). But also noticing some further quality issues with my hard top (see pics, weather stripping falling off and now seeing little green fuzz splintering from the seams of the top).

There are worst things in life for sure, so if this is it for me then I’ll be Ok, but man, this is upsetting for something brand new that cost $56k!

I am of the belief that many MIC 2.0 tops will end up warranty replaced within the next couple years. I was talking to the wrap guy about it just yesterday. I see several areas I don't like on mine and it's only a month old.

Was your dealer able to get this fixed for you yet or did they have to order you a replacement?

The green fuzz is likely from the sharp MIC edges getting caught on a microfiber towel when washing and lint getting stuck. Maybe I’m wrong, but doesn’t look like the green fibers are coming off of the top itself.

They replaced some of the weather stripping around the door but the window is still hitting when you open the door so now they are ordering a new motor for the door. As far as the weather stripping for the hard top (in the pic I posted) they sort of just pushed it back into place, but I guess we’ll see what happened next time I remove the top. Overall, the quality of the roof and the windows seems questionable to me. This is the second window I’ve had an issue with and it’s only been 8 months for me.

It’s coming from the roof, it’s hard to see in the pic but it’s as if it’s fraying like a rug!
