Hard top options - Big Bend 4 Door

Hi Forum, first time posting.

We have a 2022 Big Bend 4dr with soft top. I’m finding the soft top to be poorly made with regards to the side and rear panels and considering a hard top replacement.

Ford wants $16k for a hard top and iwas directed to some after market suppliers.

Anyone have any experience with:

I’m torn but my family has stopped taking the top off because of the difficulties we are facing when putting the roof back on. Might be a training issue on installation but the
Rear corner pieces are made of plastic and the lock tabs break easily.

$16k sounds weirdly high, I ended up piecing mine together from the parts department and it cost around $8k. I don't think ADV has shipped any customer roofs yet but they make a good product. Anderson Composites has the hard top license from Ford for the OEM design and people have said good things about their roof on here.

You have come to the right place for info on the after-market hard tops - as there is a real history of discussions on them here. You can start out by clicking the "Forums" section and then scrolling down to the "Exterior Modifications" subsections. You will find that in addition to advfiberglass there are other aftermarket companies that are now and/or others that soon will be offering them. And yes some forum members have already ordered them and a few have already received them.

Anderson Composites has a good looking too that starts about $6k

ADV Finerglass has a top that has a slant back, and starts at like $6500

Armadillo Designs has a full aluminum option, both a slant and a square (their words not mine) both have a slant…and it’s starts around $7k before options.

Rally Tops has an option that starts about $3500.
