Hard Top Lift Recommendations?

Hello, all. I finally took the entire hard top off of my 4-door today by myself (do not recommend). Once I took it off, I knew there was no chance I could put it all back on by myself. So, when it came time to put it back on, I enlisted my wife’s help, and she is just not physically strong enough—got a couple scuffs on the back clamshell to prove it.

So, I need to invest in a hard top lift in my garage. I’m renting, so would prefer not to install one of the electric ones that bolt into the ceiling. What hard top lifts do y’all recommend?

I always liked my LiftTop Pro when I had the Jeep. Wish I had kept it when I sold the Jeep.

I have a rollnJack and love it. One person crank and done. Look at the EZ one also, it also uses a crank. I don’t recommend the ones where you have to push down on, as if you’re light you won’t have enough weight to move the bar.

EZ4x4 is great… easily 1 person job and crank is a little slow but also allows for controlled lift or descent. After off can lower to near ground to leave and not worry if wind blows over.

Especially like their 4 door rack and door hinge pins… stores doors with cover very nicely and their Pins are much better than OEM.

Been living with a TopLift Pro for both a 4door and a 2door now for about 3 years. I’ve used hoists and some other lift brands but to me the TopLift is the easiest for both removal and storage. Just my .02

I recently purchased a smarter homes Bronco lift. So far it’s worked well. The customer service is great. The only issue I’ve had with is storing the front panels in the hanging storage pad inside the rear cap itself. The factory storage bag is too big.

Top Lift Pro. Buy off FB marketplace used, $500-600. I did get a chuckle out of that video. I have experienced NONE of the "problems" that were exaggerated. I also relish cranking my arms off to lift off my top.
