I have a 2022 Black Diamond Sasquatch 4 door with the 2.7 motor. I'm the original owner and it has over 12,000 miles on it. A few days ago, driving about 35 MPH on asphalt in rush hour traffic, the tranny gave out a loud clunk. Seemed to operate just fine for the rest of the day. Today it clunked again. This time on the freeway doing about 60 MPH. I'm calling the dealership tomorrow. Anyone else experience this?

There’s a pretty extensive TSB out for all 10 speed issues, so it should be no surprise to your dealership.
They’ll most likely reprogram the PCM if applicable and then perform something called a main control accelerated break in procedure. Basically helps clean any debris out of the valves which can cause intermittent shifting concerns.

Holy smokes! My dealership told me that their earliest appointment for a transmission issues is several MONTHS out. Another dealership in town requires that I bring my vehicle and leave it with them. It may take them a week or more before they get to it. Oh, and no loner available. Is this typical Ford warranty service when it comes to transmission problems?

Yeah this doesn't really surprise me. Transmission technicians are in a very short supply. I'm booked multiple months out also.

I own a 2023 non sas Big Bend with 24k miles on it. I've experienced this as well. Especially it seems after having it in 4wd (not the AWD version) and then shifting back to 2wd. It will happen randomly at different times, speeds which does not give you much confidence when punching it on an onramp. I've had it to the dealer once already for the diagnosis. They said they definitely picked something up in the reading, but reprogrammed it and said to try it for awhile. No clunking or banging on acceleration for about 2 months, then I felt it again. So back to the dealership for me.
