Meraki Hammocks offers an overlanding hammock for the 6th Gen (2021+) Bronco. Our hammocks hang diagonally inside the cabin of the 2-door and the 4-door Bronco. We also offer a tandem version for when you are adventuring with a friend in your 4-door Bronco.

Hammock Specs:
Fabric: 1.6 oz HyperD and 1.6 oz HyperD Eco fabrics are the fabrics that I use. This fabric is a lightweight diamond grid nylon.
Thread: Gutermann MARA 70
Weight Limit: 300 lbs
Length: 92" (4-door); 85" (2-door); 81" (4-door tandem)

Hammock Weight: 8.5oz / 241g

Hammock Style: Gathered end style for 2-door and 4-door; Bridge style for the 4-door tandem.

Sleeping inside the Bronco is like sleeping in a tent. If you are a weekend overlander, you will love this minimalist approach to camping. Sleeping in a hammock does not require you to park on level ground. If you cannot get comfortable in your hammock due to the terrain, then I need to adventure with you.

The patent pending hammock brackets can be installed in minutes in both hard-top and soft-top Broncos. The hammock kit for the 4-door Bronco will include two brackets. The hammock kit for the 2-door Bronco will include one bracket. The tandem hammock kit for the 4-door Bronco will include four brackets. Installation instructions will be included. NO DRILLING!

In the bespoke tradition, you will select the color of fabric and stitching. Fabric color choices are sage green, Moroccan blue, slate blue, gray, orange, dark olive, crimson red and black. Thread color choices are crimson red, Moroccan blue, slate blue, orange, yellow, olive drab, gray, and black. The cost of the 4-door hammock is $225. The cost of the 2-door hammock is $175. Shipping is $15 via the USPS.

The cost of the 4-door tandem hammock is $500 plus $30 for shipping via USPS.

When you contact Meraki Hammocks at [email protected], please specify your color choice of fabric and stitching. You will need to specify if you have a 2-door or a 4-door Bronco. Your order will be confirmed with payment instructions. After payment is received, your hammock will be built. Please anticipate 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.

The 2-door hammock is best suited for users up to 5' 8" tall. The 4-door hammock is best suited for users up to 6' 3" tall.
The 4-door tandem hammock is best suited for users up to 6' tall.

Yes. There is plenty of space inside when the soft top is closed. I have slept in colder conditions using an underquilt. I have also slept in more pleasant conditions with the top back and fell asleep while looking at the stars. More often than not, I sleep in it with the top closed.

It is more difficult to take good pictures of the hammock with the top closed.

Yes. Two people can hang side by side in a front to back configuration. I am 6' and my wife is 5'6". We have decided that if works best for me to have my feet toward the windshield and her feet toward the tailgate.

There may be hope. The recommended length was based on a previous attachment method. As soon as I am able to install the new bracket into a 2-door, I will lay in it and let you know. I am 6'0". If I would not sleep in it, I will tell you.

I have a client who is 6'3". It works just fine for him in his 4-door. I have placed a 300 lb limit. When I started hanging in my 4-door I weighed 280+lbs. I think that you would enjoy it. Email me at [email protected] if you want to get started. We will need to discuss the color of your fabric and stitching.

Charcoal Gray fabric with Blue stitching, Orange fabric with Olive stitching, and Slate Blue with Gray stitching have been popular choices. If you are a U.S. Marine, you might like Crimson Red fabric with Yellow stitching. So, you have some choices. Let's make it match your personality and Bronco.
