I have ordered a 4-dr BB with mid package, aux switches, rear locker in Cactus gray (June 22 reservation). I'm rrreeeaaalllyyy thinking I may eventually need the front locker, which would mean either a. Adding $5000 squatch to my BB, or b. Going down to a Basesquatch for same $$ I'm spending now. I would lose my color choice and 110 converter. I can do all other squatch mods AM, but I'm worried about $$ to properly install AM front locker.

If I end up as a MY22, I may make the switch and hope for more Base colors. Thoughts?
if you ever resell, you want the locker. In addition while you may not think you will use the locker now, you may actually really get into off-roading. It could become a sickness, and next thing you know you are sporting trail badges of honor on the side of your Bronco.😂

Better to have it and not need it/rarely use it, than to not have it and need it. Only you can make the decision.

Good points. And I wonder what is the overall strength of the lighter duty Bronco front 190 axle assembly, compared to other front axle assemblies of the past. I wheeled for many years with mediocre Dana 25 and 30 front axles in my Jeeps. But those were live axles, so I'm not sure how the Bronco IFS 190 would compare in terms of overall strength and likelihood of issues with larger tires and such.
A while back I did a bourbon fueled rundown on the strength difference between the m190 and the m210, here's a link to that post.

I was all over higher trims for 7 months. In the end is chose

Base 2.7L Sasquatch.

I've come to love Velocity blue and couldn't care less about extra frills. Base has all I need and it saved me a bunch of money. Why go through with the hassle later when you can get it from the get go from the factory? As earlier commenter said, Squatch is a no-brainer for you. It's not just differential, but also beefier axel, suspension & lift.

I was all over the board on models and finally ordered a BBsquatch. I too do not know how crazy I will get with it but do not want to regret leaving Sasquatch off the board. For the money I have most of what I want and then some. I have wait as I ordered mod top but was a late September res anyway. Still enjoy coming here daily for all the info and insights.

I'm sure it was covered somewhere on here but back to the need / want for a front locker; I've watched Jeeps (JKs) without lockers going up some uneven hills and the way the traction control applies the brakes when a wheel start to spin it almost looks like they have lockers or LSDs. Does anyone know if the Bronco will have similar control? If so, if you don't want to spend the $$ on Sasquatch you may feel better knowing that your truck will be behave better than having open differentials even if they aren't locked. I've seen stock non-Rubicon JKs go up some crazy stuff.
