After a 20 month wait and 2 model year changes, I finally took delivery on a 2023 Outer Banks 4D Hard Top Lux in January. Love it! Coming from 10 years with a Camry, the Bronco is a whole new driving experience for me and my family.

We live just outside of Nashville and are big hockey fans. Our whole family loves cooking, reading, gaming, and movies. Having an offroad-capable vehicle is a new experience for us, so we're eager to d(r)ive in. My hope is that this will get us outside a bit more.

In May, we'll be heading to New Hampshire for the Off-Roadeo. We're making a whole road trip of it, including stops in Niagara Falls, Montreal, Boston, NYC, the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and Virginia Beach. We'll be rocking the soft top for that trip, so we can throw it back and enjoy the scenery.

Glad to be a part of the Bronco6g community!

I'm just up the road in Bowling Green and also a hockey fan.
Curious @Gladdox & @CoyoteSwapLindus are you guys local or are you imports like me? I don't bump into to many hockey fans that grew up around here

Enjoy the ride!

Tennessee girl born and raised! I was very young when the Preds came to Nashville, so I grew up loving them. :)

Once Pekka was between the pipes I absolutely fell in love with the sport! Went from just watching NHL to keeping up with IIHF and rooting for Suomi. Love finding other hockey fans in the wild! Cheers!

Big hockey fan here. Pens fan here. Don't hold it against me. 3 kids playing right now. My sons goalie bag had to fit in the back of the Bronco in order to buy it. Can't wait to visit Smashville someday. The Bronco makes me smile every day I drive it. It's been a long time since I had a car that did that to me. Just back from a 5 day weekend in VA Beach for a tournament. Hockey rivals the Bronco in expense. Love them both.

no worries on being a pens fan - but I will boo the penguins anytime sid & co are at the stone lol
Man good for you having three kids playing & at least one goalie. That gets expensive quick, both time commitment & $$$

I can't imagine life without hockey, I'm pushing 50 but still playing

Thanks for the kind words! I'm originally from Detroit. When I was younger, my family moved to TN as part of what I call The Great Saturn Migration of 1989. :)

I grew up watching hockey (Red Wings, Wolverines, Spartans... depending on which relative's house we were at). So when the Preds came to Nashville in '98, I was a fan from Day 1. We've been off-and-on season ticket holders over the years. But I've always enjoyed watching different teams, leagues, and players.

My son also plays goal in the local youth leagues, so we're frequently at Ford Ice or Bridgestone for games and practice.

@fuesting

Ahoy! We'll be stopping in Pittsburgh in May on our way to the New Hampshire Off-Roadeo. Any good hockey shops up there we should check out? Nashville is still very limited, particularly for goalies. My son just got new pads last season, but now he's on the hunt for a new mask and pants. It never ends! :ROFLMAO:

Ahha! one of the pred-wings eh?

I came from North of Toronto so I am a long suffering Leaf fan, but am happy to root for the Preds in the West.

you are correct finding a sports store with hockey gear is tough. I grab gear from the preds yearly sale for myself but that stuff is likely to big for your kids

Unfortunately the best store for goalies was just purchased by Pure Hockey. I've been told they are still fairly goalie centric. https://www.purehockey.com/store.aspx?loc_id=114

I'm buying all my sons gear used from word of mouth or facebook marketplace or play it again sports. Got to pay for this Bronco somehow.

So exciting that you are going to NH
