Navy Federal gave you 4.3%? That's amazing, their rates have always been trash for me. I use them for short term loans since they cut checks so quick, but I refinance quickly.

Good luck! Hope they give you the best rates! I have financed 4 vehicles with them over the years. Always had the best rates I could find. Fortunately I am in a position to pay cash for the Bronco this time around.

I know what they advertise, I've just never gotten close. When my local credit union (RBFCU) was approved me for 2.15%, Navy Federal asked for 4%-ish.

I will say they'll cut a check for anything with four wheels, and fast. I use them all the time for impluse buying used sports cars. Doesn't matter the make, year, or miles. I've gotten them to write checks for 20 year old Porsches with 150k miles.

I’m not quite at the cash route yet, but should get a good rate. I’m assuming you are up in the panhandle, what dealer did you use? I’m heading over to Mullinax Ford in Mobile.

I have to go 84 months. started at 4.49, then 4.99, now 5.49. in order keep my projected payments where they needs to be, every 1/2% increase rerquires another $670 down.
my dealer will not go above msrp, but cannot confirm my '21 to '23 won't cost another $3k.

I am in the panhandle. Using world Ford in Pensacola. Bronco finally shipped last week, so should be here soon. I finalized numbers today. They're doing MSRP+ price protection, so as long as no surprises at last minute, should finally get it in the next week or so. I am a 7/20/20 rez, so it's been a LONG wait.

Perhaps the higher rates will bring the crazy automotive market back in balance.

Ugh, this stresses me out. I guess I've just always timed it when rates were low, but my last several vehicle purchases had loan percents around 1.0%, 1.1%, .9%, etc.

Anything over 3% makes my stomach turn...
same here. My Bronco loan is 4.4% which is the highest rate I’ve ever had And my credit also the highest it’s ever been. My mortgage like 2.6% from a few years ago. It’s all in the timing And right now timing isn’t good for good rates Unfortunately

How did they figure out your price protection? Was it noted on your account with Ford? How much did it end up being?

I looked at some of the stock units at world ford when Broncos started shipping. They seemed like they had a lot of knowledge and a good dealer. Much better than the dealer where I live. I chose Mullinax in Mobile due to the not having any dealer fees, so I’m saving a small little chunk for the drive over. Hope yours gets here soon!

Joined a credit union for $10 and locked at 3.25% a month before the bronco arrived. Credit score is 827 and I put 50% down. Worst percentage I’ve paid in long time.

They looked it up in the Vincent system, which is the dealership software they use. Ended up being $825. I missed out on the mid year increase of $1725 because I changed trims to move from the badlands to the wildtrack. Would have been $2550 had I not switched.
