no kidding - never wouldve thought. We ran HF on one of our acid lines to etch titanium. made it ourself at the plant. agreed it is not good stuff. remember the fridge full of calcium gluconate

We carried a tube of Calcium Gluconate like an epi pen, even when not at work because it could sneak up on you a few hours later. One time when my wife was pregnant, we were going through Lamaze class and I'm rubbing calcium gluconate into my hand. The instructor looked at my blistered hand and asked if I needed to leave for the emergency room. I said, "nah, it'll be alright".....
