I'm going to be adding lights to my 22 Wildtrak (duh of course I am). I'll be installing a light bar with pods up top, a lightbar on the bumper, ditch lights, pods to replace the capable bumper fogs. I'd like to separate yellow and white lights on separate switches, but I'm wondering if I should use the upfitters, or install a Garmin Power Switch. Any advice to a guy new to wiring lights? Do I need to separate the white and yellow? Thanks!

You can do either. Personal preference I suppose.

I will say neither the Bronco's upfitter switches nor the Garmin PowerSwitch support a ton of power draw, so depending on how much amps your light bars pull you may have to use of relays. Some lights sold will already include the relay, some will not. (In case you are unaware, relays are basically power switches, except the power switch is controlled by power rather than something mechanical like your finger.)

If you are going to go with the Garmin PowerSwitch... Blaze Off-road sells a really nice mounting kit for the Bronco. Kinda pricey, but good.

I have the Garmin Powerswitch on My Ram that did not come with upfitters.

Right now it's powering a pair of Nacho Grandes. I love the utility of the Powerswitch to control the different functions of the Nachos.

So far the Android Auto app has been reliable and responsive.

The combo has been so good that I'm seriously considering replacing the Rigid 360s on the Bronco with the Nacho/Garmin combo. I would probably wire the Powerswitch to one of the upfitters just so I have a physical switch to quickly power the lights down when I need to.
