I filled up my truck this afternoon, since then my console has been displaying the same miles until empty number and is stuck at 266. Anyone know if this is a bug? I had a software update early this morning, not sure if it’s a result of that.

Happened to mine one time a few months ago. I was driving and it slowly corrected itself after about 30 mins on the road. It just creeped up in small increments until it was correct, both the gauge and "miles until empty." It hasn't happened since though.

Not to revive an old thread, but this issue just started happening on mine since the update on 11/9/24. I thought it was just the fuel gauge at first (there’s maybe like 1/8 of the bar missing from full). But the miles to empty is stuck as well. I had this happen on a 2022 Explorer ST and it randomly resolved after a few weeks. I am not sure if this is the same for the bronco. From what i remember, the people on the explorer forum thought fueling with accessory mode on would cause it, but I didn’t even do that. Oh well.

Same here. Filled up a few days ago and drove off and noticed it was 1/8 shy to full. Thinking maybe the pump shut off early, but then the gallons that went in would have taken it to full, so was confusing at that point. I had about 20 miles to drive so after 10 miles, it started slowly creeping up to full. First time I've seen that. Will have to watch it next time I fill up.

Well i can report good news…Mine appears to be going back to full again! The miles to empty does actually change as well. So while my hope of unlimited fuel is crushed, the gremlins seemed to have vacated.
