I'm gonna have to watch that video. I've just been living with this problem by only having my windows fully up or fully down.

Yup watched the video. I'm guessing it's best to push them all the way outwards?? Or is this an adjust/test/repeat thing?
It says all the way. I did all the way.

Fix worked like a charm. Not only did it get rid of the window rattle, it also got rid of the high pitched whistle when the window was cracked an inch or so.

So what I did is use a long 10mm socket on a 1/4" nut driver. After I loosened the nut I used a long screwdriver behind the clip to get leverage to push it outward and hold while I tightened the nut.

Simple fixes are great aren't they? To think I listened to it for six months.

I think there are two causes of window rattle and one of them has still not been solved. This fix seems to work for some and not for others. This fix worked for my window rattling while it was halfway down on a bumpy road BUT this did not fix the rattle that happens when I open my passenger door. It sounds like its going to shatter when you open my passenger door and I can't for the life of me figure it out, its like the glass is super loose. All other windows are great, but every time my fiance gets in the truck that noise makes me cringe. She's been careful now when she opens it super slowly, but shouldn't have to be that careful with a door when the other three work fine lol

Yeah. Mine does this.

I took my Bronco in for service and handed them a printed copy of the TSB from Ford. Service advisor never gave it to the tech, so they called me later that day and said this is normal because the window is frameless I asked them if they performed the work on the TSB, and he said they had no idea there was a TSB. Facepalm. Leave it for another day, and they perform the procedure on the TSB, and now my window still rattles over bumps just as bad as before. Glad I left it the extra day so they could "take care of this" for me. LOL.

All in all, it is really my only complaint with the Bronco so far. Everything else has been spiffy.
I also took mine in and gave them the TSB. They tried everything and still could not solve the problem. Said basically we would have to wait on Ford to come up with a better solution. I thubk the TSB also covered the windows not dropped quickly enough.

I just adjusted my window a bit because of this post. I just kind of pushed on the ratchet as I was tightening it back up to get it to move over. It might not be all the way to the edge, but it's over more than it was.

Now I'll have to wait until the next rough road to see if it has made a difference.

Well for some reason my rattle and whistle came back a few days after doing the fix. Need to get under there and see if it slipped out of adjustment somehow.

Hi Steve. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.
