I dont know alot about FORScan but I plan on adding an electric brake controller to my Bronco.

Would it be possible to add the brake controller hardware from the Maverick and use FOREScan to hack access to the controls on the screen like my Mav has ?

I would assume the Ford integrated controller is hooked to the ECU so it's more accurate than an aftermarket. Plus it would be nice to have the info on the screen and just an overall cleaner look

Interesting. I’m not sure that there is an actual way to integrate the actual OEM one but I know that the aftermarket one Ford sells with the Bronco is made to be integrated into the factory systems and communicate as needed through the GWM like you’d expect. I will poke around in some settings and see if it’s possible

As someone who has the ford oem brake controller in my f150 and uses the cluster panel screen and the redarc (Ford’s oem controller for the Bronco) I’ll take the redarc dial and no oem display all day long. The f150 just shows the setting if I change it or acrolling through my menu screen. I set it and forget it. The redarc dial is superior with its adjustability. I also set it and forget it unless I need to adjust when on difficult rocky trails. The dial is right by my elbow so its quick & easy access without looking down.

Most people towing will not adjust and/or manually activate the brake controller as much as I do. I tow the trailer on trails that heck, many bronco owners would be afraid to run even without a trailer.

So yours hooks directly to the truck's computer for braking data or does it work like aftermarket and rely on an accelerometer ?
