Hey Bronco 6G,
Finally got the doors off, but I don't have anything to put them in... :/
Ordered Door Storage Bags back in July using points.
Ford sent me a storage bag for center section 4-Door roof (I have a 2 door, so it's doubly useless).
Due to weather, family stuff, and life, I didn't have a chance to open the box til December, which is when I discovered they sent the wrong item.
Their return policy states that returns must be "...in the original box (√ ), in new, non-installed, resalable condition (√ ), with all instructions and hardware (√ ), and in the condition it was received (√ ) ... made within 30 days..." uuggghhhh...
I called to support to say "Ok, I get that, but you guys sent me the WRONG PART," and the rep kept just deferring to the policy, saying there was nothing he could do and no one else I could talk to because they emailed me the link to the policy, which meant that the issue had gone as far as it could go... Gimme a break!
My point is - a policy is not a law. It's a policy. You can override it. Especially when it says IN THE POLICY: " If all of these conditions are not met, it is at discretion of Ford or the dealer (where applicable) to accept the return "
Again - my opinion - but seems like it would be nothing for them to accept the return, especially since it was their mistake.
Wondering if anyone can help with this...?
